It's almost impossible to say how things will turn out - because we don't know what choices your husband is ultimately going to make. Is he going to choose (and stay on) the path of sobriety, or is he going to relapse back to a life of addiction? Of course you need to hope and pray he achieves sobriety ... but don't become attached to the outcome. What will be will be. Trust that you'll have the strength and wisdom to deal with whatever happens as and when it does. Some marriages survive an addiction, others unfortunately don't. There are unfortunately no guarantees ... and that applies to all spheres of life. We just have to believe we'll be able to deal with whatever gets thrown at us as we go along.
