I read your post .... my story is so like yours I am sad to say. I never actually found anything to be honest - he lied and lied and lied about both alcohol and wahtever else he was doing - but that dreamy/out of it state you spoke about - I know exactly what you are talking about.
I am newly married to this man - a man I loved with all my heart but who ended up cheating on me and pretty much destroying my life since then. I am coming to terms with the fact he is an alcoholic and has some kind of drug addiction. He no longer speaks to me ... calls to talk about the weather but total silence when I try to approach how we plan to move forward with this issue - be it divorce or counselling. He just treats me with total silence. But of course silence is power !
I am learning that addicts will destroy you ..... they hate themselves and treat themselves like crap so they are not capable of thinking about how they treat you.
It is so very sad .... but know you have helped me to feel less alone with your story. Thank you

Thank you for the answer. You are right. It is definely not steroids. He left a very tiny amount in a shot glass and I was going to get it tested but it dried out. I did alot of research and never knew how many different kind of drugs there are that are similar to heroin and can be a clear liquid. I'm hoping he goes to rehab and gets help. Thank you again for your help.
